I Think It's Looking at Me....

This Saturday's addition to Good Decorating.

The caption reads:
Carefully chosen and combined, an eclectic assortment of furnishings can be used to create a room full of interest and charm. The inviting informality of the room is no accident; it is the result of a bold imagination and a lot of thought. Someone with a good eye, decided tastes, and an obvious sense of humor lives here. The squares of a "hard edge painting" by Josef Albers are set off by the soft, cushiony curves of the sofa and are echoed in the clean, spare lines of the coffee table. Painting, sofa, and the table form the main center of interest, but they are are asymmetrically balanced by other furnishings: a chair, a table, a tall palnt, and splashy flowers. An Op Art look is carried through the room by polka dot fabric, and the mounted antelope's head adds just the right surprising note.

I remember making those huge paper poppies when I was in grade school, very seventies! I love it!
