I'm starting to think I should just have a series of self-portraits where I pose with childhood things I am going to give away.
This is from just one box of my childhood books. I have a few more.
Books were such a huge part of my life growing up. I was always reading a book. Also, I would read some many times, which is unthinkable to me now. Books, to me, are the hardest things to part with. Or, with which to part. I should use good grammar when talking about books.
Some of my favorite authors were Judy Blume, Beverly Cleary, Roald Dahl and Donald J. Sobol (the guy who wrote the Encyclopedia Brown series). I also loved books about girls with supernatural powers.
Do you have any of these books? Who are your favorite childhood authors? (These appropriately sound like workbook questions.)
