Ayutthaya
Ayutthaya was the capital of the kingdom with the same name in central Thailand. Ayutthaya kingdom was one of Thailand's powerful kingdoms, ruling between 1351 AD and 1767 AD.

During its heyday, the kingdom conquered the city of Angkor and caused the Khmer kingdom to collapse. Ayutthaya was a large ancient metropolitan with citizens of Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, Japanese, Persian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, English and French origins lived and did their business here. The city was fortified with 3 layer of moats and walls along its perimeter.

The city collapsed under Burmese attack in 1767 AD.
