Kampung Naga and Cangkuang Temple
Kampung Naga is one of very few places in the West Java province of Indonesia where its people still preserve and live by Sundanese traditions, including its architecture.

It is located between the city of Garut and Tasikmalaya. I visited this place with my archaeology and culture enthusiast friends.

We also visited Cangkuang, a Hindu temple from the 8th century, and Kampung Pulo, another traditional Sundanese community (albeit smaller than Kampung Naga), in the vicinity.

Garut has many naturally, historically, and culturally interesting places and we look forward to coming there again.
