Researcher performs quality control new lithium-ion battery material
Argonne process R&D chemist Kris Pupek takes quality control samples from a new batch of lithium-ion battery overcharge protection redox shuttle.
Argonne’s new Advanced Battery Materials Synthesis and Manufacturing R&D Program is focused on scalable process R&D to produce advanced battery materials in sufficient quantity for industrial testing. This work is intended to support domestic battery manufacturing and to enable the transition of new materials and technology to the market.
