Day 49: Always Moving
I tried some street photography today. I'd never really considered doing street photography in a proper sense until I watched Kai on DigitalRev's Youtube channel; he made it look quite interesting, and since the point of my Project 365 is to try new things, I gave it a go.
I must say, it's fairly difficult, there isn't much time for composition, and it can be a little unnerving to take pictures of random people and things on the street. I'm also used to shooting at low ISO and wide aperture - but for street photography, it seems best to do the opposite and shoot ISO 800 and f/8.
If I were to get into this seriously however I think I would need a wider lens (or a full frame), my 40mm (64mm equivalent) is just a little too tight. I'd love to have a 35mm, 40mm, or at most 50mm equivalent prime lens.
