"Wraith Pinned to the Mist and Other Games" - Of Montreal //
I was ready to end my night after a bar outing the other day, but there was a lot of action going on at the midnight gambling chess tables -- in front of the Metro United Church, no less. I had to see how the sinners rolled.
Within minutes, I was brought into the family -- kinda similar to my experience in Washington Heights in NYC. This time, however, I went out for drinks with a few of the players at the Imperial Public Library. These guys are t-o-t-a-l-l-y passionate about the game, let me tell you.
I love nights like this -- you know, those random meet-ups, stories, drinks. However, the whole experience would've been better had there been pickled eggs and beer nuts. JLee, you know what I'm sayin'.
