Crigglestone Viaduct

I wonder if this <1000ft bridge will ever have another train over it? This was the line between Royston Junction and Thornhill.

It was built as a freight route but was used by Bradford - St Pancras trains for a 12-year period between the two world wars. The last trains to use it were infrastructure trains in 1968 to help with the building of the nearby M1 motorway. After that the track was lifted.
