365.071 uptown boot sock, finito!
It's been 2.5 years, but I finally finished the second sock for my "Single Sock Swap" sock. Rangsiwan made this for me years ago. YEARS AGO!! Either she forgot to send me the pattern with her mods or she did and I lost them, I have no idea, but they sort of sat in a pile somewhere. I found them before spring break and realized that I could probably figure out what needed to be done. I have been knitting for a whileafter all. So With the pattern and Rangsiwan's original sock, I was able to figure out her modifications (quite easily, actually). She shortened the cuff and did a slipped stitch heel. The yarn is the old Sundara put up, but it's soft and squishy.
I was concerned that my gauge would be all off, but wearing the socks, they both feel and fit the same. I love them!
I think Elinor's "Socks Revived" Contest is really what got me interested in picking these back up again once I found them. Now, on to... socks!
