The ruin of a small tower used as a sea marker to guide ships to the small slate harbour of Abereiddy. Like this tower the village lies ruined, the quarry workings decayed and the harbour lost to the sea.


A shot with the zoom lens and the polarizer. The depth of field might not be to everyone's taste, but I like the distance that the foreground suggests. The water around this part of the coast is almost Mediterranean in colour.
