Italy-2778 - Morning Etna

There are approximately 250 craters on Mount Etna. The most recent eruption was on the 15 August 2010 a few days after the earthquake in the (Aeolian) Lipari Islands.

 

This was taken from the bus in the morning as we were on our way out of Sicily. I would hate to live in those houses so close to the volcano.
