The Tuileries Garden seen from the Wheel of Paris, is a public garden located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde. Created by Catherine de Medicis as the garden of the Tuileries Palace in 1564, it was eventually opened to the public in 1667, and became a public park after the French Revolution.

The Roue de Paris (Wheel of Paris) is a 60 metre (200ft) tall transportable Ferris wheel, originally installed on the Place de la Concorde in Paris, for the 2000 millennium celebrations. It left Paris in 2002 and has since then seen service at numerous other locations around the world.
