A Rainbow Lorikeet sits on a wooden post at the Columbus Zoo in Columbus, Ohio. The Rainbow Lorikeet is a species of parrot found in Australia, Eastern Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. The Lorikeets diet consists of pollen and nectar, and possesses a tongue adapted especially for their diet.
