#361 of 365: Echeveria

    Newer Older

There was a slight discrepancy in the understanding of the plans for our yard. We intended for a bush to be trimmed; the guy doing the trimming thought we wanted everything trimmed - EVERYTHING. There isn't a blade of grass in our yard now - it's just dirt.

So I bought an echeveria to start the garden back :)

You selected the shirt for the bokeh? Nice shot!

A single bush trimmed vs all the grass removed. I don't see the difference :)

On a positive note, you have a lot of flexibility in what you can do with the garden :)

Eric: It wasn't just the bush and the grass. There were also about 15 maple saplings that were uprooted. It's really amazing how smooth it is now! And I just happened to be wearing this shirt today. Lucky :)

      On a technical note, I took this with catch-in-focus with a 55/1.2 @ 1.2. Awesome, right?

      Fantastic! Superawesome colour coding :)
The maple trees would have had to go anyway eventually, but the ivy could have stayed. Ah well. Tabula rasa :)
