Tequila Sunrise

Canon 50D | ISO 100 | f10 | 65.0 | 24mm | P121 M

Sunrises, sunrises, sunrises.

There is a always that single moment when you set your alarm, go to bed just that little bit excited and when it goes off at 3am, you think for those few vital, crucial moments - right now, I could get up and go out in the cold, or crawl back into the warmth and comfort of my bed. As I look back at my pillow for those 5 seconds, that choice makes or breaks it right there.

I can guarantee you, every time I've decided to yes, I've never been disappointed.

Why? Because getting up and getting out for the chance of something spectacular is worth it. Every time. Even if the sunrise is not great, you either learn something more about the conditions or find something new to shoot for next time.

This is precisely why I go out so much. You can visualise what its going to be like, but you never really know till you are standing right there.

Landscape preset, grad filter, white balance to cloudy, clarity, sharpen, recovery, soft light in Photoshop, very slight crop, colour tweaks, brightness, vignette.
