Handmade Pearls - Step by Step

1. Fondant through a pasta machine or rolled even thickness

2. Select appropriate piping tip for size pearls required

3. Lightly dust top of fondant with icing sugar and punch out discs. OK to do a few at a time.

4. Roll each disc in palm of hand to make pearl

5. Place lustre dust on plate (I used Super Pearl and White Shimmer combined) Shake gently to coat pearls whilst still tacky bu set enough so as not to lose their shape

5. I poured the leftover dust into a container and left pearls in it - give a shake to re-coat

6. Pearls used on my daughters wedding cake
