2017 Hungry Ghost Artwork, Pt. Reyes
This exhibition explores the intersections between chronic heartache and prescriptions for resilience. The “hungry ghost”, metaphor for this curatorial concept, is something found inside us. The type may be different for each of us, but the energy behind the hunger is the same. There is something we crave, or feel we desperately need to be happy.

The inspiration and metaphor for this exhibition, " hungry ghost” is based on Buddhist and Taoist beliefs, typically refers to lost spirits roaming the earth deeply burdened by unfulfilled longing.
