ANiMA is a multi-media performance celebrating the power of the human spirit through ancestry, nature and mythology. Artists perform innovative global electronic music with live projected animation, shadow dancing, puppetry and costumes while audience members are invited to participate in the building of a group altar, and traditional craft making and dancing. An expedition of synesthetic time travel, the show aims to transform ancestral traditions into ritual futurisms through the co-creation of new narratives that expand cultural identity and global community.
