Biscutate Swift

Caraça Sanctuary, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

 

This species is found mainly in eastern Brazil. It looks very similar to the more widespread White-collared Swift S. zonaris, but the white collar is wider below and broken on the sides of the neck, and the tail is square, not notched.
