Green-bellied Hummingbird

Amazilia viridigaster cupreicauda

Iwokrama Forest, Potaro-Siparuni region, Guyana.

The grayish belly indicates that this is probably a juvenile. At only 50 m above sea level, this is an extremely low record for this species, which normally is found in mountains. This subspecies is sometimes split.

Other name: Copper-tailed Hummingbird
