Durdle Door sunrise
A new winter day begins on the World Heritage Coastline at Durdle Door, Dorset. This one is taken from the coast path on top of the cliffs.
I was in the cove on the other side of the arch but when i noticed how the cloud was moving over, I moved quickly up to the cliff top. I wanted the angle of the cloud to mimic the angle of the foreground running slightly uphill. I did take another with more of a lead in line in the foreground but preferred this one because of that relationship between the two.
I love being at epic locations like this on those bitterly cold winter mornings with nobody else in sight. You almost feel like the only person alive, the cherry on top is when you get to witness light like this.
