For a variety of reasons, some good, some bad I've had little time, energy or enthusiasm for anything photography related the past three or four weeks. It's been quite an unusual sensation really - since taking up photography early last year it's been pretty all consuming. I've missed being out taking photos, sitting at home editing photos, thinking about photos I want to take, checking conditions for photos and spending time talking to people about photos whether yours or mine.
Anyway on Sunday I tried to break out of the cycle and get out with the camera. Without much time I headed to Pensarn beach to try and get a photo I've had in mind for a while. The light was lovely on the way and it was high tide. Perfect I thought. On arrival I discovered the high tide wasn't very high. Moments later the sun tucked itself behind a cloud and shortly after that the cloud decided to slowly drizzle it's contents over me. Not good.
However I managed to fire off three exposures in that time and with an unusually high success rate, I actually liked two of the three. I thought I'd share the colour one first, the black and white needs a bit more work. Plus it's in keeping with the previous couple of uploads I've made.
Anyway I hope you enjoy. For my friends on here, I hope to catch up with you soon - albeit I'm likely to be offline again next week, albeit for good reasons - I'll be enjoying a holiday (and hopefully getting new photos!).
