I spent the majority of my evening near Pier 14 in San Francisco. I've taken so many pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge, I thought I would shift focus to the Bay Bridge for once. I headed out early, way before sunset. I figure it would be nice to just read a book on the Embarcadero. I found parking very close to the pier! Lucky me!
It was an overcast day, but not too cold, and not too windy. I found a nice bench, and hunkered down until the sun set. In the mean time I simply indulged in some good reading. I am currently reading a book titled "The Song of the Dodo." This book address the concept of island biogeography, evolution, extinction, natural selection, and biology (and much more). I am only a small ways into this book, and I can already recommend it. But only if you are in to that sort of reading.

As soon as the sun began to set, I noticed the glow from the surrounding lamp posts became more prominent. Sunset had finally arrived, and albeit the sky was not as colorful as I had hoped, for the most part the weather actually cooperated.
I can't believe the weekend is over in an hour.
