Contextual research for Orange (2)
Photos and entries from the diaries and my shadowing formed the interview 'script' for each participant.
I overlaid my questions (the little pink post-its) before the interview and jotted down their replies (the dark blue post-its). One benefit of this was that all the data was in one place, making it easier to analyse and share with the client in workshops.
Another benefit of working like this was that by seeing their story laid out like this, participants started to highlight relationships between different things unpromped. This had the effect of drawing out unexpected insights.
