Weeping Willow poem

A student saw my drawing of the spring branch, and decided that it looked vaguely like "that tree with the bendy bits". So I drew the willow to show him what kind of tree he was talking about. When he said, "yes, that's it," I told him it was a weeping willow, and I tried to thnk where there was a willow on campus. Turns out it's not doing very well.

Done in a moleskine with PITT artist brush-pens from Faber-Castell.
