Frame for classes
Here's what I want to do with my two history classes this year — teach kids to visualize what they read, turn it into a graphical map, outline it, write a first draft, edit their first draft to a second draft, and then present the results.
This was definitely a back-of-the-napkin kind of sketch. I first did a rough-hewn version on a white board in a semi-abandoned classroom. Then I did this one, more clearly, on a paper placemat in the local greasy-spoon café.
