# 1. Feather-leaved Banksia

Banksia brownii is a Western Australian species threatened by the soil-borne water mould Phytophthora cinnamomi and by too frequent wild fires. Spraying plants with the fungicide Phosphite, implementing an appropriate fire management plan, collecting & conserving seeds & using those seeds to recreate populations are all part of an integrated conservation strategy to conserve the species.
