Danish Church. Sunday 30 March 2008 . 3930
The Danish Church Of Saint Katharine provides a reassuring backdrop for the residents of the almshouses. Built on the Western edge of Regent's Park in 1826 as a chapel for the Royal Foundation of St.Katharine the building was consecrated as the Danish Church in 1952. A church service is held every Sunday morning to preach the Christian gospel, but I'm not sure how prayer and worship relates to the easy found wealth of the super-rich almshouse owners.
