How lucky we are

A typical view south of Calgary, looking towards the west - this was taken from the car as we were driving the area covered on the Nanton Christmas Bird Count, on January 2nd. The sun was hitting the mountain peaks and they looked so beautiful.

Our deep-freeze continues, -21C with a windchill of -31C this morning. Can't even remember when I last went out, lol!
