I rode over to the Metropolitan Museum today to join the annual Dalvero Holiday reportage gathering. I missed the assignment, which was to scout the collections, and bring something of them to the designs and pictures of the tree. I just sat on the floor and started painting. Everyone showed up eventually and did some beautiful work. It was so peaceful there today...not very crowded as the forecast for snow discouraged travel. Riding home through the park in light snow was just as restorative. Nice to be in the company of angels- snow -and the ones who attend this wonderful place.
