Believe me, if I started murdering people… there'd be none of you left!

The title is a quote by Charles Manson, one of the craziest f***heads ever born in this world (by the way, Marylin Manson got his *artistic* name "Manson" from this very person.)

I chose this quote, because I think it fits the anger this little scorpion showed towards me. One might argue that both the scorpion and Charles Manson had their reasons to be "mad".

I don't know... people have crazy thoughts, but I just got kind of sad reading Manson's quotes ... how can people... *sigh* whatever...

About the photo, some of you already noticed that I use a point and shoot sony, which just died. I still have some photos to upload, but now I have to start thinking about a new camera. I want a slr, because I'm really tired of point and shoots.

But since my birthday is coming (October 18th) if any of you want to give me a Nikon D3 as a present, I would really appreciate. LOL... just joking, I'll buy a new camera eventually.

So... I used the sony, and it has a details option that allows you to get really close to the subject, and I'll tell you, this was one angry scorpion! When I placed it on the mirror, *somehow* it managed to scape! :P

I was like: "GAAAAH!!!!" o.Ô but I was fast and recaptured it, using a pencil. It was pretty impressive to watch the scorping attack the pencil with its sting. So fast... so furious.

I think this one is a Bothriurus araguayae. Inofensive, compared to the other species. Its poison is little active in humans, but still... it causes great pain. It wouldn't be smart to let it go and find a hiding place inside one of my shoes :P

It's small (reaches 5cm), and eats other small insects. My brother brought it to me. He captured it at his work place, the same place he captured the yellow cururu toad. I wonder how the place looks like :P

Tityus serrulatus is a yellow scorpion, considered to be the most dangerous in Brazil.

and "Eid Mubarak" for those who commemorate it :)
