why am I always taking pictures of jordan?
Because I need to remember everything. I need to remember the knit pattern of your tights and biscuit’s crazy eyes and bean’s regal stance and the arrangement of the forks and spoons and knives on your kitchen table and the chaos of your desk and the way the light comes through the curtains in your room that annoys you so much on summer mornings and driving to athens with your mom and no snow sledding at the mountains. And the time we thought that kitty was lost but she came back and watching conan late at night and that bizarre couple at the REM concert and getting sand spurs stuck in my feet at the beach and eating spoonfuls of icing from your fridge and getting lost in the atlanta ghetto and the thrift stores in athens and the first time you ever even came over because we had to make that ridiculous science video. Because Jordan is my best friend and knows me better than probably anyone I don’t know if it’s possible that I’ll ever have as good a friend as her even if we’ve got 80+ years to live and even though we’ve always known that we’d be probably going our separate ways for college it just sucks that you’re moving even before that.
But I’m still excited for you and plan on flying up there as much as my mother permits
