Nazi disabled victims 'euthanasia' memorial

This memorial was the most touching to find. The blue clear glass wall was one thing, but this is the only place where you can not but look at photos and narratives who hurt you deep in the heart.

Having spent my life on working with disabled people it hurt still more to learn that the systematic killing of disabled children, and later adults as well was done in the name of 'euthanasia' or death by mercy - and the same doctors that worked on this "mission" kept on speaking for it up to the 60's

Even though I knew disabled children were killed systematically, I had never realized how much, how, done and for how long time.

Usually systematic killing of other than jews is just named almost as byline.
