Bee Balm is a perennial herb. This plant is quickly speading in my garden. I love it but the other plants are getting crowded out. Guess it is time for some garden work.
Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and other nectar-seeking creatures love the tubular flowers on the plant's rounded flower heads, and the leaves and flowers can also be made into tea. Other common names include Monarda didyma, horsemint, wild bergamot, and Oswego tea.
