Police helicopter 1983-1987 in Woensdrecht

    Newer Older

In the eighties cruise missiles were to be placed in the Dutch village of Woensdrecht, where Mark worked as a police officer. Many demonstraters and people from the press from all over the world were drawn to the small village. This caused a tremendous amount of police activities. Mark is in the helicopter that's just landing in front of the police-station. Fortunately the whole thing was cancelled.

Ah that's such a cool photo, shows the skill of the pilot.
The helicopter looks like a MBB Bo 105, I sometimes see one that operates as an Air Ambulance in my area fly overhead.

      Hi,
It was a scanned photo. I scanned it again on the max resolution (3468 x 1988) almost 1 MB and put it in my stream as "Heli"
