December 10th 2008 was the 11th annual International Animal Rights Day (IARD) - initiated and co-ordinated by UK anti-vivisection & animal protection organisation Uncaged Campaigns (www.uncaged.co.uk).

Events included a protest in North Wales against the National Trust killing mountain goats, a day of animal rights education in the city of Toba Tek Singh and various villages in Pakistan, and numerous stalls, demonstrations and vigils around the world.
