Selaron stairway

So this is a constantly changing piece of artwork. The artist Selaron tried to sell his art in this stairway in the 1980s but found that no one came down this alley because it was so dirty. In 1990 he began to change the stairway and put tiles on it to make it more interesting for tourists and he hasn't stopped since. There are 215 steps and is 125 meters high. He is constantly tearing things apart and rebuilding with new tiles. I think there are tiles from over 60 countries spread throughout the stairs
