Copan, unlike Tegucigalpa, was safe. So I was free to walk in the city alone and talk to people (not that I didn't talk to people in Teguc :).
The main means of transportation in Copan (Honduras) is tuktuk. It's extremely loud, and on the bumpy roads you feel like you'll fall out at one point. But I loved driving in them. It's fun being able to see life outside of the "window" so close and to see the wind. Tuktuks are cheaper than taxi (if you find any), and drivers usually pick more than 1 passenger. Unbelievable, but these little "cars" can fit 3 people (without the driver).
I've seen them in India too. They call them "riksha" and they're usually green. In Copan they were red or yellow.
Thanks for your visit and have a great day!
