Appreciating the little things in life.
Shot at 35mm, f/1.4, 1/500s, ISO 100.
So its a Tuesday night, still a long week ahead, 27+ hours more to clock in ILC. We had our semi-finals game in volleyball today and we WON! Looking forward to the finals game on Thursday =p.
I usually post pictures once a day here on Flickr (if I can -- usually I can't haha! Probably why I don't even want to start thinking about a Project 365). I left my trusty ThinkPad in the office, so I had most of the the night looking through a few photos taken over the weekend and enjoying post-processing!
Looking back - when I first started in photography, I had absolutely near-zero knowledge of Photoshop. All I knew then was, it was a software for editing photos / creating digital artsy fartsy stuff.
Now - it has become an essential and enjoying part of my Photography, which in this context, takes the full cycle:
* of having an emotion/idea,
* through the actual setting and taking of the photo in the camera,
* to the excitement of loading it into the iMac/PC,
* to post-processing the pictures,
* and finally to delivery and appreciation of the hard work and effort you put into it.
Enjoy photography! Appreciate everything about it. Keep learning. Keep shooting. Keep sharing. Have fun. Appreciate the little things in life - and capture it the way your eye sees it.
