Standing out in a crowd

Newer Older

You're going to see more of these -- I came across this field of spring wildflowers this evening at sundown and I stopped and laid down in the middle of it and shot until I couldn't think of any other way to shoot a flower photo! It was divine!
BTW, does anyone know what wildflower this is?

Beautiful ... really like the way you've used the white blossoms as a back drop and backgroun... don't know the name of the flower however

gorgeous shot--so well done! Love the softness here.

I believe the flowers are Chionodoxa, or glory-of-the-snow.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I believe it is 'Ipheion uniflorum', a variation of which I got here

    Great shot anyway!
