• Dell XPS 1530 with Kubuntu 9.04. It's meant to be a desktop replacement so both Angela and I can always have access to a full fledged computer
  • Dell Mini 9 with Crunchbang Linux. So useful when traveling and going out. I'm constantly changing its linux distribution from Ubuntu NR to Moblin or whatever (namely, Jolicloud)
  • Old Viewpad 1000. I bought it some months ago at eBay for $20. It's one of the first tablet pc (2000) and I had to hack it a lot so the faulty network card and the touch screen actually worked as expected. My idea is to put a fullscreen firefox with wikipedia, rss and imap mail next to the TV set
  • Dell Latitude E6400 with Arch 2009.2. It's my second work related laptop (the other one stays at ENTEL and it's a Thinkpad XS0s). Arch Linux is being an interesting experience so far...
  • Sony wireless headphones. Listening to podcasts while I cook or clean, the easy way :-)
  • It's Angela's laptop, not mine. I bought it in Tokyo (yep, japanese keyboard but she uses it for her japanese language courses). It's a Panasonic CF-W5. It's weights just 1kg and the battery is 9 hours long. It's really awesome.
  • Our desktop computer. A 2.6 GHz Intel Quad with 4GB of RAM and lot's disk space.

At anytime you'll find three open X sessions (Angela, mine, work's)
  • Logitech Trackman mouse. I'm in love with this mouses. It's a pity they are now being abandoned.
  • Lots of books (mainly Physics and Computer Science)
  • Lamp #1
  • Lamp #2
  • Lamp #3

Our computers II

Newer Older

Here you are. Our three laptops, a netbook, a tabletpc and a desktop pc. See the notes for more details.
I took the photo on purpose, after seeing that a previous photo "Our computers" [http://www.flickr.com/photos/angelaypablo/860181962/] was, by far, the most viewed photo on my flickr photostream.

All of them are running GNU/Linux, of course
