Bison

MiG-21 Bison CU2291 of No. 3 Sqn "Cobras" based at Pathankot AFS.

 

My great-grandfather was with No. 3 Sqn while they were based at Kohat (now Pakistan) during WWII and took over as CO shortly before the Squadron moved to Burma for the second Arakan Campaign. He retired as VCAS, IAF.

 

In the background is a MiG-29B from No. 28 Sqn "First Supersonics" based at Jamnagar.
