INS Teg (F45) is the Indian Navy's newest Talwar-class guided missile frigate (modified Krivak-III).

 

She is the first of a three-ship contract that will augment the three Talwar-class frigates already in service (Talwar, Tabar, Trishul). The main difference from her older sister ships is the inclusion of 8 BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles in place of the earlier Klub-N AShM set.
