Pardiss Kebriaei and Leili Kashani at the "Close Guantánamo" protest outside the White House

In the centre of this photo, Leili Kashani and Pardiss Kebraei are with the New York-based Canter for Constitutional Rights, one of the 26 groups involved in the march and rally in Washington D.C. on January 11, 2013, calling for the closure of Guantánamo on the 11th anniversary of its opening. Pardiss, who spoke outside the Supreme Court, is a Senior Staff Attorney, whose work "focuses on challenging government abuses post-9/11, including in the areas of 'targeted killing' and unjust detentions at Guantánamo and in the federal system," and Leili is the Advocacy Program Manager for CCR's Guantánamo Global Justice Initiative.
