Golden Waters

    Newer Older

Part of my ongoing "Black Forest Waterfalls" series

The Gertelbach Falls near Bühlertal rank among the highest waterfalls in the Black Forest. The main cascades are 70 m high but difficult to photograph. However, the Gertelbach overcomes more than 220 m of altitude while flowing through a broad forest canyon, resulting in many smaller falls along its way down. The photo depicts the stream with one of these lovely, small water steps.

Ob links ob rechts...mir gefallen beide Ansichten.

I think this is one of the most beautiful photos I have seen on Flickr.
The reflections your friend pointed out are magnificently portrayed by you.
I like his photo as well.
Your idea of flipping the photo worked well.
Your reflections remind me of one of my favorite professional photographers here
in the US named Clyde Butcher....he is the Ansel Adams of the Florida Everglades.
However, he is a black and white photographer.
Thanks for the details about this photo. They are helpful.
