Three words that document the ginchiness of the public library system. Many librarians approach their jobs with a sense of reverence. They preserve the library's holdings and expand them, to benefit the current generation of patrons as well as the people who will visit this same library a hundred years from now.
I'm sure there are people on the campaign trail pointing to libraries as symbols of socialist indulgence...needless entitlements for the 47% of the population who have no desire to pull their own weight in society. Blah blah blah.
