Dog & Boy #3

    Newer Older

Having filled up my rucksack with supplies in Tyndrum I was grinding along this section in low gear with a hefty pack again. We walked towards and along the foot of Ben Dorain the very prominent hill to Bridge of Orchy where I needed to replace some lost nutrients in the hotel bar.Suitably revived we climbed the hill above to camp in a midge free breeze.

Wow, the view is awesome but those clouds are scary. Actually, not scary. Just looks very heavy and if it poured you're gonna get soaked.

Fantastic image, really evocative; there's also something about it that is at once slightly retro and timeless. Like how the boy and dog are looking at one another. Wonder how this would look in b&w?

As a very minor thing, would be tempted to clone out the telegraph pole that almost sticks out of the boy's head - not really distracting, but noticeable as you keep staring at the image... which is for some reason I can't help doing:)
