Swanage Beach

    Newer Older

A shot from yesterday morning on Swanage Beach. I shot this during a one-to-one workshop day I was running. This was our second location of the day at 6.20am! We were lucky with light all day and had a really good days shooting.

Here are another couple of shots a few seconds after the previous shot so you can see the difference in water motion. Everything else is the same. Same shutter speed etc and settings synchronised in lightroom.

I would be interested to know which of the three you prefer.

Great series, love the water movement. Personally I like them in reverse order to how you have them.

Thanks. Interesting I like them in order of posting, but like the middle one in the colour of the wave. Also toyed with a 2:1 crop.

Nice clouds and cracking water movement Andy. The light on the water looks good, well done :-)

Handsome work. I really like the wave curl of the first but the wave trail of the second. Of course, the third has that wonderful little trail cross in the middle that lines up with the headland.

Great shot and I love the trails of water on the beach and the reflection from the sky on the tide itself.
