A Halo for an Angel

    Newer Older

With Polaris, the north star, carefully positioned above the Angel of the North, star movement from the earth's constant rotation creates a halo effect around the sculpture.

I've got a 45inch print of this on my living room wall, get in touch if you want something similar.
From a series of long exposure night images featuring UK landmarks against a backdrop of startrails.

That's a fantastic shot. That's some commitment to travel that far, but the results are well worth it!

Nikon 16mm Fisheye which I'd fortunately borrowed for the trip/ shot. The image as shown is uncropped - you can see there was little margin for error.
