A Halo for an Angel

    With Polaris, the north star, carefully positioned above the Angel of the North, star movement from the earth's constant rotation creates a halo effect around the sculpture.

    I've got a 45inch print of this on my living room wall, get in touch if you want something similar.

      Nikon 16mm Fisheye which I'd fortunately borrowed for the trip/ shot. The image as shown is uncropped - you can see there was little margin for error.

      I saw this image in google images earlier this year when i started to develop a taste for star trails photography! You inspired me to go out and do my own version of this iconic image! I only wish id thought of it first! :)
