The Thames Tunnel: a tunnel book

Newer Older

Marc Isambard Brunel's Thames Tunnel opened in 1843. When the engineer fell ill during construction, Marc's son, the famous Isambard Kingdom Brunel took over at the age of 20.

This tunnel book, used to promote the tunnel when it opened is now at Bristol reference library. Early merchandising?

I make books too. You can see some of them at www.andreweason.com, where you will also find free instructions to make your own books.
